from
www.euro-rail.org
Europass is the most common name for the Europe train

But you need to know more in order to buy the right

WHY YOU NEED TO BUY THE EURAIL SELECTPASS
INSTEAD OF EUROPASS
The reason is simple.
Europass has been replaced by what is called the
Eurail Selectpass.
This is actually a good thing, because the new pass is
more flexible than the old Europass. However, I think we
will see Europe train passes being called a
Europass
for a very long time to come.
The
"new"
Europass does not demand you buy five countries. It can be
bought for anywhere from three to five bordering European
countries. And you have more to choose from than just the 5
Europass countries. You can create a Eurail Selectpass for
up to any five bordering countries of 18 European
countries. So you can get a lot more out of the
"new"
Europass.

Above is the link to both Europass and Eurail Selectpass
on the great Rail Europe website.
Even though there is no more
Europass
, it still appears on the site,
because the name is so popular.
When you get there, the first screen looks like
this.
The

link.
You can click there and be directed to Eurail Selectpass
or better, just click on "Eurail Selectpass" on the Rail
Europe website,
and go directly to this screen.
The menu lets you
select one of the four types of Eurail Selectpasses
described below.

The Europass for
unlimited travel in 3 to 5 bordering European
Countries for a single person traveling alone.
